I am really disappointed that I ordered my new Ford F150 with the built in nav system.  While it has some advantages over aftermarket units, it is really disappointing and frustrating that it is purposely excluded from receiving the same SYNC updates other (less expensive) options offer.  Those of us with the nav system would also benefit from using customized personal google maps and other information services.  Only after taking delivery of my truck and registering the system did I find out that TDI is NOT included on all Ford products with SYNC.  Together with the frustrating user interface design and disabling of many functions, I am feeling disheartened with Ford and feel that I have not received a good value for the options I ordered on my truck.  I would love to have a way to update/fix these issues, if anyone from Ford, Sync or other vendor is reading this.
