SYNC uses your paired and connected mobile phone to connect to Traffic, Directions and Information, and it doesn't use the internet or data plan on your phone. See the FAQ and How To instructions below for additional details: -->-->--> http://www.syncmyride.com/Own/Modules/FaqManagement/FaqDetail.aspx?faqId=424 http://www.syncmyride.com/Own/Modules/SupportContent/UsingSyncSupport.aspx?hdi=19 Mike

Hi Matt1674, Your post was moved to this corresponding thread. You may want to browse the phonebook to see if your contacts transferred correctly. Also, make sure you are saying the names exactly as they are listed in the phonebook. There are additional Voice Command and Mobile Phone troubleshooting tips at the link below: http://www.syncmyride.com/Own/Modules/SupportContent/UsingSyncTips.aspx Mike

Hi Dan_Gold, With the inclusion of the cluster displays on the new system, the mini map functionality was not added to the 2011 Lincoln MKX. However, with the new My Touch system for both the Ford Edge and Lincoln MKX, there is an entertainment menu on the right-hand side cluster display which will allow you to view music playback information, which you can view simultaneously with the map information on the center stack display. Hope this helps! -->-->-->

Hi Wabell, Your post has been moved to this corresponding thread. There is a MAC version of SYNCMyiTunes. On the support page, scroll down to the SYNC Tools section on the bottom left-hand side then click on the link named SYNCMyiTunes MAC Client.  Hope this helps! Mike

@hughestr, you may want to try a power reset on the device or restore the original software on the device. Inspecting the cable for damage is another troubleshooting tip (which you've already done). If you need any additional help, you may also contact our SYNC Support team here: http://www.syncmyride.com/Own/Modules/PageTools/ContactUs.aspxMike

Hi Araner, AppLink will be made available as a download for the 2011 Ford Fiesta by the end of the year. More details to come on syncmyride in the coming months, and instructions will be given on how to perform the download. Thanks for the feedback! Mike

Hi Hughestr,-->--> --> Does the concern with songs repeating/skipping occur randomly, or is it always the same song(s)? If you haven't done so already, try to play the same song using line in or wearing headphones to see if the song file is skipping on the device (without SYNC). If yes, then it may be a bad file. Also, make sure that you are using a Zune cable and check to see if there are any issues with it. Hope this helps. -->--> -->--> -->--> Mike -->-->

SYNC should index the music every time the player is connected via the USB port, and it will begin playing the music after it completes indexing. In order to ensure that SYNC re-indexes, you may want to add at least one new song or delete a song to change the overall memory content. http://www.syncmyride.com/Own/Modules/FaqManagement/FaqList.aspx?tagId=108 @kc2hrg, for tips on zune playlists, please see this existing thread: http://boards.synccommunity.com/n/pfx/forum.aspx?sr=y&msg=1892.7&nav=messages&webtag=fordsyncmb .
