I have a Blackberry Tour (ordered first day of release) and it has no problems,  SYNC, receives and places calls, and even stream music via Bluetooth. On another post Verizon advised the user to remove battery (leave out for 30 seconds) and put back in apparently resolved all issues.

I just wish SYNC could read texts on my Blackberry.  It works fine on my four year old Motorola K1!!

I seem to be having problems with Sync (ver 1.3) understanding my contacts list.  If I say "call wife at home" it will respond back "Press 1 for call wife on mobile home, Press 2 to call wife on mobile other".  It does the same for any contact.  It thinks that if I have a mobile number for a person, that the person's name is "Person Mobile".

For one reason or another it cannot understand my voice dialing.

On my curve I just replaced it was working great.  Now I have to dial manually from the phone.

Any ideas?

Some phones do not transfer the location information over with each contact's entry in your phonebook..  This is not a problem with Sync, but we do have a few workarounds such as the SyncMyPhone application.

Mike,

I've read your posts and all the Beta discussions.  I know you've filled your quota for the beta testers, but I would certainly appreciate the opportunity to try the SyncMyPhone application.  I also threw my name in for the SyncMyItunes application for MAC.

I've tried anything and everything to get my BB Tour contacts to work within the Sync phonebook with no luck.

Actually the release should be coming out very soon.  That is being handled by user "SYNC-Applications".

I just installed V 3.1 in a 2010 F350 with Nav and tried to hook up a Tour 9630 and it started out great. No problems downloading the phonebook and everything looked good until I made a call and it showed call ended and stopped. Then when I called the phone it rang in the truck and rang and rang with out being able to answer it. After ending the call sync continued to ring as an unknown caller and the only way to stop it was to shut the truck off. I hooked two other phones in to the system and they worked perfect so it has to be something with the Tour.

I just got my Blackberry Tour and have the same problem as Brian's, no one can hear me. I'd sure love to hear if anyone has figured out how to take care of this.  It's most aggravating! (Sync worked fine with my Motorola KRZR Flip phone)
