Is it possible to search for services along a route? I know you can search for gas stations or restaurants by city and state but what about along a route... say within 10 miles ahead of you? How about searching for the next rest stop along your route? Can you do that? I couldn't figure out how and if you can't, seems an oversight.

Closest command I know of for that is near my current location by business type.

Thanks, I'll give that a try but it seems to me that the system really needs a set of commands specifically tailored to finding things along a route.

Yes I completely agree with this!! Now that I understand exactly how sync uses the cell phone to access this info, I'm not exactly sure how it would be done.. But I think this is something that is really needed!!
