Folks,

I recently purchased a 2010 mustang GT, and am becoming familiar with the sync system.

I have a 2 year old Verison Casio GZ-one.  The book at the dealership said it was fully sync compatible.  I have paired the phone with sync, and can make calls manually, but it will not upload the phone book (I've tried a couple different ways, and the dealership has tried as well).

Does anyone have any recommendations?

I only have about 30 really common contacts - is there a way to program these contacts into sync manually?  Meaning, can I create a phone book in sync?

Thanks,

Mur

There is an application you can try.  It's linked from the top of the forum. Hope that helps

Thank you very much - this appears to be exactly what I need.  I will download and give it a try this evening, and let folks know how it worked.

The application recommended worked perfectly for me.

I loaded it on my Windows computer, and the operation of the application was simple, and help was available.  Basically, it is a simple manual phone book.  I had about 40 contacts, and It took about 20 minutes to fill in the appropriate information (name, phone number, type of phone number).

I loaded the new phone book on my (non U3) USB drive, and plugged it into my car.  Following the instructions, I uploaded a new application (this took about 3 minutes) - the phone book worked perfectly.

Contrary to what I stated in my first posting, upon closer inspection the Casio GZ-one Verison phone does not state that it supports automatic phone book download, so the documentation provided by Ford on the phone was correct.

Thanks for resolving my problem in such a short period of time.
